BHR has a history of fostering innovation and encouraging knowledge transfer. We run two leading research and development consortia with the aim of increasing the research productivity of participating firms. Owned and managed by BHR Group, the consortia are funded and steered by their industrial members.
Our current consortia focus on distinct specialisms relating to the Process Industries:
Independent, confidential and objective, the consortia are underpinned by by over 30 years of leading edge industrial research in mixing and over 10 years of nanoparticle research.
- Industrial Mixing
- The incorporation and deagglomeration of nanoparticle clusters.
Members are market leaders from a broad range of industries, and enjoy a wide range of benefits, not least the benefits of a 5-10 year technical advantage, generated from the research and findings.
Scale-up successfully from lab to pilot and from pilot to production scales. The process mixing knowledge generated in the FMP consortium can reduce time to market, minimise down-time and reduce production costs.
BHR Group successfully works on industrial processes relating to the dispersion of nanoparticles and nanoclays in liquids, nanoparticle incorporation in the product formulation, through to the provision of new process design and equipment selection.
