The Tutors

The Course Lecturers are Dr. Nigel Heywood and Dr. Neil Alderman, world-recognised experts in the areas of applied rheology and slurry handling. Both have more than 20 years' experience of all aspects of processing and handling rheologically complex fluids including pipeline design for solids transport. They have worked on mixing, blending and pumping products as diverse as drilling muds, hydrates, catalysts, mineral and nuclear slurries, polymers, food and pharmaceuticals and have provided bespoke solutions to industries world wide.
