Nottingham, regional capital of the East Midlands is a vibrant cosmopolitan city. Days Hotel situated in the heart of the city centre is within easy walking distance of Nottingham’s attractions, including Nottingham Castle and Caves, the Royal Concert Hall and the excellent Lace Market to name but a few. Many cafes, bars and restaurants are to be found close by and with many of the central streets pedestrianised the best way to explore the city is on foot.

Getting Around/Travel

By air – The City centre is only 30 minutes from the East Midlands Airport.  There is a regular coach service from the airport and taxis are available.

By rail – Trains run from London St. Pancras Station (also the Eurostar Terminal) with a journey time from London of about 2 hours. The City trams will take you from Nottingham Rail station (2 stops) to Wollaton Street.

By road - Nottingham City Centre is a short distance from Junction 25 of the M1 motorway. The Days Hotel have negotiated reduced parking fees at Talbot Street Car Park, a short distance away as there is no Car Park at the hotel.  For more information, ask the organisers when registering.
